  • Spark plug wire removal

I am working on a 1934 HD B 21 c. i. single. I have been trying to remove the plug wire from the coil but with no luck. I tried a charged battery, even a heat gun to loosen it up but no luck. Any ideas? Thanks Mike

Letting it stand in boiling water.
Have your replacement wires ready, and even them in the hot water, warmed up, as the proper conditions won't last long, once the tar inside the coil melts sufficiently, but not too liquid to run down and fill the cavities.
Take the measure of the exact depth of the original wires when they come out, and apply that to inserting your new ones. There are points in the bottom of the coil, that when the new wires are completely inserted, will pierce the ends of the cables, into the core.
