I don't know how to post pictures here but if you go to motorcycleclasics.com and search 1934 vld they have an article with pictures of a guy who has owned one in those colors since 1938. That is a very high engine number for a '34 and should be OK for that paint scheme. The bike bought in 1938 has been seen in recent years at Oley, and I would say the striping colour is black or a very dark blue. It seems that bike was the one Ray Tursky rode in the 1934 Jack Pine, then it was given to him with his new Harley dealership. How cool is that.
