  • My Dad 1944

Picture of Floyd Coots taken in Florida at an Air Force base. He was a mechanic on the P51 Mustang's. He used to ride a 4cyl Henderson before he went into the service. It did not have a kickstand so at home he would lean it up against the silo. The needle valve would stick on the carb once and a while. It stuck one time when leaned against the silo and caught fire. My Grandpa came out the barn where he was milking cows and poured a bucket of milk on it to put the fire out.
