  • Any Moto Guzzi Single Owners?

Curious if there are any other members here with a Moto Guzzi single?

Just bought and am learning about a 1955 Airone military bike. Cool little machine with beautiful engine castings.

    Hey Buzz,

There was a beautifully restored Airone in the Barber AMCA show. I think it belongs to one of the Confederate Chapter members. Got my vote for best of show.

Buzz- I have a 1951 Falcone, also two Harley Sprints. Falcone has always been a great ride. Hope to catch up soon.

Hi Will. Sounds like you and I have the same disease and addictions - plus we both have 101 Scouts.

          Hey Buzz,
Just noticed this thread on Guzzi singles upon researching my resently picked 1951 SuperAlce, military single. Heres' a couple links for pic's! I got it running and riding, and it go's pretty good for a 500 single! Happy Holidays--BPK!!

I have my 1955 Moto Guzzi 250 Airone Militaire pretty well sorted out, registered and on the road. Hope to run it in one or both of the 2011 Moto Giro events her ein New England.

              Buzz,
I just joined this group, and saw your post. A really good friend of mine has a 1955 Airone, civilian. I think he has a shop manual, I'll ask him.

Mike Parti owns the single formerly owned and customized by Ken Howard. Ken went by the name of Von Dutch. I was intrigued by the exterior flywheel.
