There should be a serial number stamped on top of one of the cross tubes.

I've checked and can not see any numbers anywhere

does anyone have a parts manual for this sidecar - copys will do anything to help in finding what the parts I need look like

even pictures of your own frame will help - do not need pictures of a body thanks

I have a 1918-1926 parts book. Your frame appears to be earlier than that.

It could very well be Indian. As I said it didn't match any thing in the H-D catalogue.

maybe in future I will have to put in the thread the make and model of the item in question as not to confuse anyone who loves to post just to see their thoughts in writing

Sure, thats it. I go dig up a parts manual, scan it, upload it to photobucket and post it here just to see my thought s writing. I think NOT! I tried to help. If that is too deep for you to understand that I am sorry.

                    akahawg,
PM me, I have a '28 Indian sidecar catalog that shows a very similar frame for 301 and 401. The scan is too large to post here.

                      sidecar frame

The sidecar mounts pictured in the photo on that frame I believe is Harley. Didn't Indian use different style mounts(like whats in that parts book from Chris)? Refer to ebay # 110429557146, as I somewhat have the same question! Mystery still not solved-getting deeper? BPK!!

                            aka HAWG,

Do you still have this sidecar frame and if so is it available? It is an Indian Princess chassis and would fit 22-31 chief only. It would be correct for about 28-30 I believe, with the front spring style you have. I have a friend with a 30 Chief and he will be doing the cannonball with it in 2014. He needs a frame, has only a body at this time. If available, pleas PM me with your contact info.

                            Thanks!
