Steel rim repair

I am trying to return my 1960 XLCH back to what it should have been in 1960. Although aluminum rims would increase performance and ride comfort, I decided to stick with steel. A club member has given me a dinged 18" rear wheel. Apparently, a prior rider had hit something solid with the wheel and somewhat flattened part of the rim.

Does anyone know who can true this rim?

The Frame Man in Sacramento claims to be wheel straighteners, although I personally have not used them for that particular service. Call and talk to them to find out for sure if they can restore your rim. http://www.motorcycleframeman.com/

My first choice would be Buchanans, but I'm not sure if they 'straigten' rims. Give them a call....
