'47 Seat Post

Hi, I am trying to get the correct info on seat posts. I've heard that they are different for rigid and swingarm bikes. I know that there are differeint types of pins or the way that they attach (at pivot on top) I am restoring my '47 to the highest standards possible and would greatly appreciate any help on this.

The difference for rigid and swing arm posts is in the way the springs are arranged within the post itself. No outward difference and you can switch bits around to make either one work.
