Sturgis Shovel Info

I am in the process of negotiating to buy a Sturgis model and am looking for any and all info and parts suppliers on these fairly rare bikes.

I am hoping to restore mine back to stock and original.

Buzz,
I have a mate here in NZ that has an example of every model Sturgis produced. They have all been restored to mint original condition and as far as he knows these are the only set of Sturgis models outside of the HD Factory.
He's away in England at present and won't be back until mid October but he knows these bikes back to front. When he returns I'll get him to e-mail you as he does have some bits I think he might part with.
You need to talk with him direct as his passion is for these models only.

Hey thanks. I was not aware of any Sturgis models other then the 2 years of Shovelheads and 1 year of Dyna (I think).

Any others?

1980/81/82 and 1991.
I stand to be corrected here but I think 1980 and 1991 were Dealer only bikes. That is there were only enough produced to enable each and every dealer world wide to have one each.
