  • 1931 VC Harley About to Fire

    Hello Guys,

I have been plugging away on my 1931 VC Harley Davidson - After almost 1 year, the BIG "Kick" is coming up. We call this bike "Lazarus" because it was truly "Raised from the Dead" - Tons of hours in labor and much help from the list below, Many Thanks to the following people:

    Confederate Chapter Antique Motorcycle Club
    AMCA FlatHead Forum
    Steve Slocombe
    Johnny Sellers
    Calvin Burnett
    Ed Dacus
    Johnny Whitsett
    Bobby Porter
    Louie Porter
    Ricky Neal
    Leo Goff
    John Pierce
    Lonnie at Antique Cycles

And of course, my wife Sonja, who has put up with all of this shop love affair.

                Hey Cotten,
Dave is probably so busy having fun with the VC that he has forgotten all about this thread. Carb. problem is resolved to my knowledge. Just a float alignment issue. He is continuing to make all of the little refinements we all go thru to make a bike a dependable rider. He's working hard at it and enjoying the learning process. Fun to see a guy new to the hobby developing the passion. Got any Model H floats yet, need one for a '13 Indian "Street Racer" project we are finishing.
