  • 1942 XA For Sale

Harley-Davidson's only production shaft-drive model is what this sale is about. A 1942 H-D Model XA. Only 1,011 were made and this is your chance to own one.

Mostly complete. She's missing the skid plate, footboards, saddlebags, leg shields, police-style battery, heat shields and to be totally correct, the sparkplug wires needs to be changed.

She still has the 6-volt system. Seelite headlight. Blackout marker light. Blackout and service taillight. The seat has been reupholstered.

Aftermarket parts include windshield, exhaust system, some wiring, ammo box, scabbard and bracket, and she has Dunlop K70 tires.

Starts great but she's running a little rough right now and needs someone to give her some TLC. The engine probably needs to be gone through.

She's back to original Army specs complete with O.D. green paint and the white star on the gas tanks.

This is a good project for someone with some time. You know, to tear her apart and rebuild her from the ground up.

Not registered for the road in any state. Will provide Bill of Sale only.

    Asking $25,000 or best offer.

    Hello,
I wonder to whom you sold this treasure - HD XA? Would it be possible to buy from the new owner?
I am interested in military motorcycles of WWII and searching for this bike for a long time already.
Would be greatful for any useful information.
