  • pan head fork oil ??

I just read a post saying type "B" fork oil should be used in these .A few days ago I got some fork oil from the custom bike builder guys .It's Belray high performance fork oil 20 weight .On the back it says for all standard and cartridge type forks.
    Consistent dampening performance
    Special frictional properties reduce stiction
    maximum wear protection
    extends seal life
It doesn't have any type written anywhere on the container.
Any reason not to use this oil ?

Harley fork oil was [is?] designated type B or Type E for Hydra-Glide forks. Type B was for 49-76, and E was for the Showa forks
used on 77 later. I would imagine that they are different viscosities, but don't know for sure.

That sounds about right to me .The oil I got had 3 weights ,I took the middle one being in Canada ,it doesn,t get 100 above .( I won't mention the other direction the termometer can go in )
