  • 45 Oil Feed Pump Shim

I've got a new reproduction dual checkvalve oil feed pump for my '37 W. The rotor surface is flush with the face of the pump body, and my restoration manual indicates it should be .005" higher than the pump face to compensate for the gasket between the pump and cam cover. I've got .005" shim stock, but I need to know what it should look like. Should it be a disk the same diameter as the rotor with a hole in the center? Should the center hole be the same size as the hole in the bottom of the rotor pocket?
