now that i have a pan, on to the next question: what kind of bags go on a '64 flh, bubble or the more modern looking ones?

The more modern fiberglass bags which were introduced in '63.

Actually both styles were available in 64' for BT or Sportster. The bubbles have the late style "rocket" silkscreened aluminum trim.

And I believe the fibreglass style had the weatherstripping stapled to the lowers instead of the lids.

I had a nice set, but I traded them to a "buddy" who was supposed to have my '65-only bags painted in return.

Both sets disappeared with only a f**k-you after years of reminders.
The blatant thief is Dan Clark who now operates as "TMC" of Peoria, Ill.

Im pretty sure Ive seen a ad for these bags in the AMCA but I maybe wrong, if you want a real set youre goin to PAY
